Margarita Grill became the third restaurant to achieve certified local status from the NH Farm to Restaurant Connection. Owner Corrine Rober and Chefs Lisa Raymond and Bud Selmi have shown remarkable commitment to the customers and the environment by spending time developing connections with local farmers in order to offer a wide variety of locally sourced food on their menu.

The New Hampshire Farm to Restaurant Connection, a not-for-profit organization within NH Made, was organized in 2003 with the mission of increasing awareness of New Hampshire farms and enhancing their viability. The Certification Program assists in forging stronger relationships among restaurants, local farms and local food producers. The volunteers of the Farm to Restaurant Connection have seen an increase in applications to the Certified Local program after partnering with the NH Restaurant and Lodging Association which has helped increased awareness of the program.

The Rober Family started Margarita Grill in 1983 with a plan to offer fresh, affordable, southwestern style cuisine. This certification verifies their commitment to local sourcing and recognizes their development of a large network of farm and food producers, permitting them to offer local food throughout their menu. Steve Baillargeon, Corrine's husband, often plays the role of food distributer by stopping at various locations to pick up local foods. Prior to becoming Certified Local the Margarita Grill proved its commitment to sustainability by achieving the highest designation, Environmental Champion, under the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association's Sustainability Program.
