Savory Square Adds New Chef

Chef Charles Harrison started his culinary career at the age of 14 making onion rings at his uncles burger joint in Biloxi MS.

After honing his skill at the Broadmoor Resort during high school, Chef decided to move west to gain considerable experience working with some of the United States top Chefs and Restaurateurs including Homaru Cantu, Bradley Ogden, David Berkley, and Patrick Mulvaney. During his pilgrimage he also attended Le Cordon Bleu in Portland Oregon.

In 2006 Chef Harrison took over Cafe Vinoteca in Sacramento CA. Having totally changed the menu to a post modern Italian cuisine, Harrison received numerous accolades, including best Italian restaurant in Sacramento.

In 2008 Harrison was sought out by Sacramento's premier restaurateurs the Hanes brothers to bring a cutting edge restaurant to Sacramento. Having opened Tre restaurant as Executive Chef, Harrison received numerous accolades and appeared in dozens of publications.

Harrison received 3.5 stars out of 4 for the second time in two different restaurants. Harrison now resides in New England as the Executive Chef of Savory Street Bistro, bringing cutting edge to the north east.
